The band member’s long-time home in Sherman Oaks, California, listed for $3.85 million

Los Angeles, California – The Spanish-style hacienda owned by Duff McKagan, the bassist of Guns N’ Roses, and his wife, model and swimsuit designer Susan Holmes McKagan, was introduced to the market at the beginning of May for $3.85 million. The property is co-listed by Marcie Hartley of Hilton & Hyland, and already has gone into escrow, Hartley reports.

The McKagan family raised their two daughters in the home and now that the children are grown, the couple intends to spend more time in Mr. McKagan’s hometown of Seattle. The five-bedroom, roughly 4,200-square-foot main house was built in the 1930s. The half-acre property also includes a gym, transformed from a stable, and a one-bedroom guesthouse, which also serves as a creative space where Mr. McKagan has written and recorded songs. There is also an underground wine cellar with its own entrance.

The gated estate also boasts a lovely swimming pool, a brick patio perfect for entertaining, and a flat grassy yard, a rarity in this hilly area.
