Saint Barth’s Most Expensive Listing, Domaine de Vignette is offered at US$59 million by Zarek Honneysett of Sibarth Real Estate.

The 2.1-acre tropical compound is in Les Étoiles, a private, gated enclave of four estates in the remote northwest quartier of the island, a jet-set paradise in the French West Indies.

The magnificent, multi-dwelling compound is immersed within the palm-cloaked hills above the Bay of Colombier.

In 2024, designer Rémi Tessier led a multi-million-dollar renovation of the estate. “The style of the property is timeless,” said Tessier, whose interior designs include private jets and superyachts. Tessier said he strove to combine “understated luxury with an exotic spirit, reinterpreted through a refined island aesthetic.”

From the nine private bungalows to the meticulously landscaped gardens and the ocean-view pool, bar, and lounge, everything has been carefully thought out for the comfort of residents and their guests.

The tropical gardens are landscaped with a multitude of exotic trees and plants, about 70 species in all, including royal, coconut, and Bismarck palms; traveler’s tree; mango; elephant ears; bougainvillea; laurel; and Bird of Paradise.

The centerpiece of Domaine de Vignette is a magnificent, turquoise-toned walk-in swimming pool perfectly integrated with the surrounding vegetation and sheltered from the winds, with the Caribbean Sea as the backdrop.

The service and maintenance systems are hidden from view in a vast underground structure. The property is equipped with advanced home-automation, air conditioning, and a back-up generator.

Domaine de Vignette offers a sublime setting with nine bungalows and tropical gardens organized around a central pool deck, lounge, and bar with 180-degree ocean and island views.

A stroll away lie the white powder sands and sapphire sea of Colombier Beach, accessible only by boat or hiking trail. Nearby, Flamands Beach is a 20-minute hike, and the glamour of Saint Barthélemy’s capital, Gustavia, is a short drive.
